The Goal: Raising awareness with a fresher look

The Early Learning Coalition of Hillsborough County is a non-profit organisation dedicated to early childhood education and social services, helping families across the region access essential resources for their children’s development.

Their goal was to raise awareness about how they help the community. They hadn’t worked with animation before and were hoping this could help them connect with their audience more effectively. So after seeing our work with Pip, they reached out to us for a fresh approach that would bring their mission to life.

The Challenge: Telling their story simply and effectively

This project was a big leap for the client because they’d never worked with animation before. The challenge was to clearly communicate what they do, so that families who might not know about their services could quickly understand what they do and how to reach out.

We also had to do it without words, telling a universal story clearly, and in a very short amount of time. We knew that connecting with the audience emotionally was essential to engage them and drive action.

Working with thoughtfully allocated resources,  we got creative and focused on what mattered most, telling their story in a way that was both effective and emotional. 

We went with minimal visual style, with no backgrounds, making sure the characters and their journey took centre stage, without any distracting clutter.

The Result: A new, colourful identity that reached more families

The result was a bright and heart-warming series of videos that truly connected with their audience and reached many more people. 

The simplicity of the animation allowed the stories to shine, and the characters became so beloved they evolved beyond the screen. The client used them everywhere, from decorating their facilities to featuring them in marketing campaigns and city buses. 

The transformation went beyond the videos, giving their whole organisation a colourful, fresh new look that felt more inviting, relatable and in tune with the families they serve.
